The ordained officers of this church shall be: pastor; ruling elders; and deacons.   We believe in the plurality of elders who serve the church as shepherds, examples, teachers, guardians, and rulers of the flock of God. (Acts 20:28-32, I Timothy 3:1-7, 5:17, Titus 1:5-9, I Peter 5:1-4)

We believe the pastor serves with the ruling elders as the first among equals whose primary task is prayer and the ministry of the Word of God. (Acts 6:4, I Timothy 5:17)

We believe that deacons are servants of God who are responsible for the material aspects of the ministry, especially to show the compassion of Christ in a manifold ministry of mercy toward the saints and strangers on behalf of the church. (Acts 6:1-7, I Timothy 3:8-13)
